Hey there, neighbors! Ready to celebrate Independence Day with a bang? We’ve got a lineup that’s sure to make your holiday unforgettable! Come out to the Meadows Sports Complex in Abingdon for an evening of fun!

Fireworks return to Veterans Memorial Park!

6:00 PM – Bike Parade staging at the Meadows

6:30 PM – Bike Parade Grab your bikes and join us for a short, spirited ride down The Virginia Creeper Trail led by the lively beats of Drum & Fife. Decorate your wheels and show off your patriotic flair!

6:00 PM – Carnival Games & Activities Stick around for some classic fun:

Dunking Booth – take a shot at soaking your favorite local “celebrities”

Ring Toss & Three-Legged Race – friendly competition for all ages

Foam Pit & Potato Sack Race – because who doesn’t love a little messy fun?

7:00 PM – Watermelon Eating Contest Think you can devour watermelon faster than the rest? Step up and prove it!

6:00 PM – Uncle Sam on Stilts Keep an eye out for the towering Uncle Sam roaming the festivities – a perfect photo op!

7:30 PM – 9:30 PM – Live Music As the sun sets, enjoy live tunes. Bring a blanket, kick back, and soak in the sounds.

9:30 PM – Patriotic Performance A heartfelt tribute to our nation – come together and feel the pride.

9:30 PM – Fireworks Display Cap off the evening with a dazzling fireworks show that’ll light up the night sky.
