A HoomanDeli Department: Some of the most miserable humans I've ever met in my life. They genuinely seem to hate their jobs. It doesn't matter how nice you are to them, they just seem to hate your guts when you step up to ask for anything. Produce Department: It looks pretty on the shelf but wilts in a heartbeat. It's like they get it off of the truck at peak ripeness and it's all downhill from there. The produce variety is slim in general (Harris Teeter and Publix are superior by far)... As for the store's groceries in general: They are standard but for such a nice *looking* store, I would expect more variety, especially in the multicultural and spice sections.. However one big standout is the meat department - While the selection is standard, the presentation is fantastic and the employees are superb. I've noticed that the Food City stores across the board seem to really shine in their meat departments and rightfully so... The quality is top notch, not only in product but customer service - Kudos! The rest of the store is just lackluster, even with its spit-shoe shined frontage and presentation. .... I'd give the place a thumbs down all across the board but the Meat Department is its saving grace.

JTAbout the only Food City I can go in and find everything in stock. Management is always the best here.
