CourtneyI came to Abingdon for a race I was running and Donna's home was just the perfect oasis! It was quiet, welcoming, and walkable to lovely local restaurants and amenities (not to mention the start line of my event! 🙂 ) Donna is so kind and welcoming. The home is a lovely older home in downtown Abingdon. My room was excellent with a bed, and a sitting room which was excellent for planning and "organization" of race gear! Clean and well appointed, I recommend Donna's accomodations to all who are traveling to Abingdon. I will be back on my next visit without a doubt. 🙂

Matthew FrazierRecently came to Abingdon for the Dam Yeti ultra trail race. I was fortunate enough to stay at the Gather Inn. The host Donna was very nice. The house was beautiful and my room was very comfortable. The location was perfect. Easy 3 min walk to the Virginia Creeper Trail and close proximity to many other places along Main St. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Donna!

Gregory StichStaying here is like staying with family -- meant in the best way. Clean and very comfortable room, with a bed that's as good as ours at home. We slept like babies. Although we just met, Donna is like an old friend. Great location too. We parked our car and walked everywhere.

Wendy MorrisonDonna was a friendly and laid back host. Her home is so lovely-in the best sense of the English boarding house tradition with a sweet hall-access bathroom for my accomodations. Welcoming and an easy walk to all the best attractions of Main Street and the historic district, there is convenient parking, charming outside spaces and public rooms, including a music parlor and library. Thanks to Donna's 'insider tip' I got the chance to hear some amazing live music and hang out with a great group of local folks. After a long, full summer's day my guest room was cool and my bed comfortable. I brought back a sweet treat from the Tavern and settled in with a good book on the private balcony adjacent to my room. What an enjoyable stay and wonderful opportunity to support a local business owner!
