Becky PrattStaff is amazing and very knowledgeable. We did the bottom half of the mountain since the top was closed off for repairs… we are definitely coming back next year for the top half of the mountain. Very cute town with very friendly people.

Geo JVCT bike shop is a great mom & pop type shop! Jerry is friendly & helpful as well. We enjoyed a good day of riding a pair of Marlin 4 bikes.

LindseyWe went in on Saturday to talk about rentals for Sunday! The 11:30 was booked, but the guy said he could put us down for 9:30, so we said let’s do it! He told us to arrive 5-10 minutes before (which we were a little late for this) but got there 9:29, due to having to say bye to the rest of our group who was off to do other things in Abingdon since we committed to the trail. When we got there at 9:29, I apologized for being a couple of minutes late and the guy replied “for what?” I said the 9:30 rental, we signed up yesterday. He looked at his sheet, our names were still there (with our phone number, but no calls) and he was like “oh they already left. But I can see how far, but they’re probably too far out.” Needless to say, we did not get to get on the shuttle for Damascus, but ended up renting bikes and riding to Damascus and back. It was beautiful! The second half come back was tough especially with the bike they gave me as it was not in great condition. But will do the Creeper Trail again and find another shop to rent from! I just wonder when the shuttle actually left if it wasn’t supposed to leave until 9:30 🤔

Mikaela ChavezWe used the VCT Bike shop for our shuttle needs both days we rode. The first day we brought our Tandem and they were able to store her easily and efficiently and the same for our solo bikes the next day. The staff are very friendly and helpful, a calm and welcoming presence amid loading the bikes and getting guests checked in for rentals. We arrived safely and so did our bikes. The first day we rode the full trail which has an outlet right to the bike shop across the tracks and the second day we were picked up in Damascus. We had a great experience overall and would recommend the VCT bike shop to anyone staying in Abingdon looking for rental and shuttle services!

This Abundant LifeRented two bikes today for our first ride on the VCT. Great experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Bike were in great working order. We’ll be back!
