NAPA TO APPALACHIA - World-Class Wines in Southwest Virginia

Abingdon Vineyards was founded in 2001 by retired engineers, Bob Carlson and Janet Nordin. In the summer of 2018, the Gardner Family stumbled upon this beautiful gem and moved from California to Virginia to build their legacy. Abingdon Vineyards is truly a community effort with a wonderful team and many volunteers that help tend to the land, grapes, wine and guests.

Cheese, crackers, salami and other artisan snacks available for picnics, outside food also welcome.

Accessible by car, boat, bike or horseback! Just 1/2 mile off the Virginia Creeper Trail, near Alvarado Station. Boat access from the South Holston Lake (when the lake is at full pond).
