Abingdon Farmers Market Opening Day

Farmers Market Pavilion, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM

April 6th marks the opening day for the Abingdon Farmers Market!

The Abingdon Farmers Market has served as a place for farmers, artisans and food producers to sell their wares directly to the community for over a dozen years. Located at the corners of Remsburg Dr. and Cummings Street in Abingdon, VA. Come out and see why we’ve been called The Best Small-Town Market in America, and the #1 Farmers Market in SWVA!

The Abingdon Farmers Market is open Tuesdays, 3pm to 6pm (April through September) and Saturdays, 8am to 1pm (April through October).  In November and December, the Farmers Market holds its annual holiday markets, Saturdays from 10am to 12pm.

Saturday markets feature live music, while Tuesday afternoon markets highlight activities for children with Farm Fresh Kids.

Includes over 50 full-time vendors, offering a wide variety of local meats, eggs, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, wines, prepared foods, art & crafts.

The Abingdon Farmers Market is a producers’ only market. This means that all of the vendors at our market have either grown or produced their goods here in this region. It also means that you have the opportunity to interact with the farmers growing your food!

The market accepts credit/debit cards and EBT/SNAP benefits as well as cash - see the information table.
