Main Street Busker Fest

Abingdon Main Street, 11:00 AM-10:00 PM

Weird and wonderful street performers will fill downtown Abingdon for the Main Street Busker Fest  We’ve lined up acts from all over the region & country to thrill your senses. From fire-eaters to magicians, human statues, one-man bands and everything in between, there won’t be a corner of the Main Street that will disappoint.

There is something for all ages! The Imagination Station, presented by William King Museum & Barter Youth Academy is all for kids & kids at heart from 11-3pm on the Barter Green. Join them for FREE puppet making, improv & performance.

The antics of the day keep going into the night for guests 21+ . Buskers After Dark is a night of up-close and untamed performances, including a stage show and chance to mingle with the best buskers of the festival. Attendees are welcome to attend in costume, adding to the magic of the night. In keeping with the spirit of the festival, attendees are encouraged to bring a “tip” for Abingdon Main Street, a donation at the door.  The evening event will entertain guests 21 and older with unedited amusement including fire jugglers, magicians, acrobats, beverages and a DJ spinning beats from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Abingdon Market Pavilion.
