Thursday Jams Presents: John Paul White
Abingdon Market Pavilion, 7:00 PM-9:30 PM
Warm Night, Cool Grass, The Appalachian Mountains, Free Music… and You!
Thursday Jams, in the heart of Downtown Abingdon, is the place for families and friends of all ages and backgrounds to experience 10 nights of free, diverse music every year at the Abingdon Market Pavilion. Our concert calendar includes artists from all around the country and right in our own backyard, from bluegrass to soul, home-grown country to Indie rock, and fun, southern rock. Visit award-winning restaurants in town for dinner before the show, or enjoy the event's unique food trucks. Each Thursday Jam will feature local beer from Abingdon's brewery: Wolf Hills, as well as other craft beers and wine on tap from around the region. Beer Garden proceeds benefit Abingdon Main Street, a non-profit organization working to preserve and promote Downtown Abingdon.
Free parking available adjacent to the Abingdon Market Pavilion, off of Main St, or along the street. Doors open at 6:30pm, and the music starts at 7pm, ends at 9:30pm. www.abingdonmusicexperience.com has more details and samples of music for the 2019 season. Presented by Blue Ridge Beverages and Abingdon Music Experience.
