Kristina E Bergman (Hidden Pond Farm) 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★This little motel is a best kept secret in a quiet beautiful location. Amazing views of country and mountains. Danny the office manager was friendly and helpful when we visited the first time and when we returned he thanked us for coming back! Fresh Coffee available in the office every morning so no need for coffee machine in rooms. The room was clean and orderly and well set up. Restaurants were close-by and it’s right off I-81. Check this gem out!

Maureen G 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★While I am not sure what your experience might be like for you, for me, my experience has been so great it made me feel inspired to say; This place is my favorite as motels go because motels usually give me the creeps and I normally dislike many things about them.but this place is different. The maid service and office staff are so friendly and polite and patient and excellent at their jobs. The rooms are super clean and quiet. No bugs. . While there is no coffee pot in the room and no breakfast served here, all appliances and furniture (e.g., the desk chair, microwave and fridge) are in great condition and function well, including the deep bathtub which is great for baths and showers alike. The beds are beds. Nothing to write home about for sure, but they are clean and decent in terms of comfort so I slept great in them nonetheless and that is what matters most. The view is amazing. It is so quiet here and the scenery from the rooms is tranquil and beautiful with it being situated right next door to a horse farm, with chairs to sit outside on the front porch where you can catch a fantastic view of the sunrise over the blue ridge mountains or the moon at night. So all things considered, the price is awesome for what you get here. The parking is so convenient right in front of the rooms and since it is one story there are no rooms overhead. As far as location, it is situated up on a hill and set back from the road with a small cemetery on the property so if that is not your thing, stay somewhere else. If you go to church, it os right next to a small Church, called Church of the Nazarene. I attended the service and while the building itself is not big or modern, the paster is very friendly and quality of the sermon and things they included in other parts of the service were just right for me! The people were so open and friendly and warm and gave great testimonials! This motel is also close to the interstate and excellent restaurants, WalMart super close by, not far from downtown Abington where there are quaint little shops, the historic Martha Inn, excellent coffee shops and a very popular walking/biking trail.

Alana Jones 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★This place is a great affordable option in Abindgon! Loved seeing the cows and mountain view out of our room. Room was updated really nicely except for some old trim in the bathroom. Just a note that unless I was missing something, they do not have breakfast.
