Melinda Scott 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★I wasn't disappointed! I stumbled across this restaurant when I was Antique Shopping on Main St. in Abingdon. One of their specials that day was "Chicken Jalfrezi". Never heard of it, so I Googled it. The description on Google sold me but when I tried it, it tasted so good! It's Euro style meets South Asian spices. Absolutely delicious! Service was friendly and fast too.

Mountains Are Best 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★First visit at store front after sampling some take out. We got the chicken and daal dishes and they were just great. The lentils were too spicy for my wife and chicken was hot for older diner, the folks brought yogurt over to help cool it a bit. Very nice folks in every way. The mashed potatoes were excellent, the chicken was well curried and the vegetables were too. The cilantro chutney was excellent. My only complaint was the seating area was within another store space and though quiet enough to talk, it was noisy. Everything was very clean and nice. Decoration on store front were colorful and interesting. Prices were very reasonable and everyone there were attentive and helpful as they could be. Good folks, good food, but tell them up front if you don’t like hot.

Jared Foster 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Food truck turned brick and mortar right in the heart of Abingdon, within the Abingdon Commons. What an amazing spot to call their new home. The food is amazing!!! They’re able to expand their menu with rotating specials because of their new space. They still have their incredible classics: Curry Me Down South and the Chicken Tikka sandwich. They’ll also give sample of dishes if you want to try before you buy. What I had yesterday was new: the Spicy Tikka Tenders and fries with homemade dill ranch. The BIG OLE tenders weren’t overwhelmingly spicy, so flavorful, and juicy. Crinkle cut fries, not my favorite shape but the seasoning is ON POINT. The dill ranch is thick and creamy and the dill makes it bright and fresh. 10/10 would recommend!!! P.S. awesome merch too!

Rhyli Drake 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★This is one of my favorite local places, so when family and friends visit I always take them. My sister has a condition with really extreme allergies. Going out to eat with her is sometimes impossible because she is literally risking her life. I chatted with the owners a week before my sister came in and was assured they would make sure it was safe for her to eat there. They went above and beyond to keep that promise. The owner chatted with us to make sure they knew exactly what her allergens are, double and triple checked on us, and made us feel like it was no big deal. My sister was able to eat a full delicious meal and a yummy drink without fear of harm. I was already a fan but now I’m a forever loyal customer!

Idalina Walker 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★The Hype is Real: Featured in Virginia Living and The Local Palate, this spot masters a unique "Appalachian + Pakistani" fusion. What to Order: The famous "Curry Me Down South" (Tomato-based chicken curry over Southern mashed potatoes). Or My new favorite Born and Corn Bread. Why It Wins: Atmosphere: The new spot at Abingdon Commons is cozy and vibrant. Versatility: Eat there, take it home, or pack it for a hike—the food travels perfectly. Verdict: Incredible flavor, eco-friendly packaging, and great people. 10/10.
