Beth NorwoodWhat a beautiful historic home! This wonderful place is so quiet and restful, everything here is just lovely. The breakfast was absolutely amazing (including homemade scones and thoroughly delicious homemade bread, toasted, with plenty of butter) and the hostess, Miss Joan, will direct you to some great eateries for other meals in town nearby. Abingdon has a lot of charm and fabulous food! Miss Joan and Mr. Mike are kind and gracious hosts, and you will really enjoy your stay here…I sure did! Five stars plus on everything! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Will HiltebeitelJoan is a great host! This place is very quaint with a grand staircase and a lot of charm. The highlight of our stay was breakfast every morning with fruit, a baked treat, and a delicious entree like a frittata. We slept great, and this place felt more like staying at a sweet relative's home than a hotel. It was very convenient for me to run downtown and onto the Creeper Trail for some early morning exercise. I'd also like to note the rates were much better than the big chain hotels. Especially considering the service and breakfast we received, I doubt there's a better deal in town!

The RockWe are repeat customers for a reason. We love our stay here. The host are super and always welcoming. The breakfast is always great with fresh ingredients and homemade jellies. They are close to restaurants and the Barter theater where we always book a show. Their accommodations are clean and the home is lovely. We will come back again and recommend this b&b.

PaddyRWe only stayed one night but Joan was very accommodating. You can tell this was a fine Victorian home, full of wonderful antiques. But the best part was definitely the Breakfast! It was absolutely delicious and Joan is a wonderful hostess. Definitely 5 🌟

beckye640Joan greeted us at the door before we could knock. We appreciated how she asked us about what time we wanted breakfast and any food preferences. Breakfast was lovely, served on beautiful china with a cloth napkin in a napkin ring. She’s a great cook, who shops at the local farmers market and makes her own breads. We thought the bed was the most comfortable of our vacation. The furnishings are from Mike’s family. iWe came to Abington to bicycle the Virginia Creeper Trail. This B&B was close enough to bike to the shuttle. Joan was so much fun to talk with and she recommended places to eat and things to see and do.
