Located on Main st. in downtown Abingdon, VA. Our 1886 historic building features a contemporary touch with its newly constructed drive thru, sleek bar and expanded outdoor dining. Ethically sourced and roasted on site in small batches, each coffee served has been carefully measured to extract the fullest flavors for the perfect cup, every time by our head barista & Roaster Zen Moon. We serve each cup with the unmatched Victoria Arduino Black Eagle espresso machine.
Our family business was founded with the mission to bring delicious coffee and provisions to our home here in Appalachia and our team is made up of passionate people who take pride in serving our community and beyond.

Dave NEveryone enjoyed their meal. My wife had the Breakfast Bowl with bacon, and I ordered the Old Faithful. Everything was really good. The grits were flavorful, and my over-medium eggs were cooked perfectly. The biscuits tasted great, although I wish they had been served a little warmer. My son really enjoyed the hot chocolate, especially the heart design on top—it was a nice touch that made the experience even more special. Overall, this is definitely a great breakfast spot and a good option if you’re in the area. We’d be happy to come back.

Chad ProudfootI recently had the opportunity to be in Abingdon, and The Girl & the Raven was recommended as a good place for breakfast. I'm so glad I stopped in! The atmosphere was very laid back and pleasant. There was also plenty of parking in a designated lot. I happened to be seated next to the owner who was there meeting some friends. He told me they have "the best flat white north, south, east, or west of the Rio Grande!" He wasn't kidding! I got that to drink, and it was fantastic. The food was just as good. I had a yogurt bowl with granola and fruit that was so filling I couldn't even finish it - but I made room for one of the best cheese danishes I've ever had! This place will remain high on my list to visit again, and I don't think anyone will walk away disappointed!

Gigi Wes TravelsThis is my first time coming here and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! Not from the area and love trying new places. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy in the dining area up front. There is a cool bar and take out counter in the back. Met the owner and was impressed with their hospitality and conversation. The cappuccino was smooth and bold flavors. The turkey melt is a must and Ruben did not disappoint. Our server was attentive and adorable. This is a must stop on your list for cafes and coffees.

Aaron RutterThis place is GOLDEN! Just go, you won’t be let down. They have food that will cure what ails you! Everything is breakfast if you add an egg right?! Went with the owners recommendation and now I want to make the 5.5 hrs trip to just get this. Or if you’re a local business and hiring, maybe I’ll move down just to be able to eat this as often as I’d like! 11/10 would recommend!!

VirginiaNice place and nice people. We just dropped in to get a couple of cafe drinks on the way through town on a roadtrip. The iced caramel latte we got was really phenomenal. However, the iced matcha was.... disappointing. It was prepared with almond milk, which I was not told that was the standard so that was a surprise- especially as that was the PRIMARY flavor I was getting. The drink is green (ish) but somehow tastes nothing like matcha and only like almond milk. I would avoid this. To the restaurant, I would consider taking this menu option off or investing in decent matcha that has any flavor to contribute. Again though, coffee was fantastic!
