Chapel in the Hollow 3 out of 5 stars★★★☆☆We stopped at International Rendezvous Cafe early in the morning on our way out of town, hoping to grab a quick breakfast before hitting the road. First impressions were great. The cafe has a really nice vibe, the girl taking our order was friendly, and the menu sounded fabulous. Everything looked really clean. We ordered the avocado toast with a side of bacon, the International Breakfast Sammie, and an iced mocha. Our total was around $30. The iced mocha was decent, and I really enjoyed the avocado toast. The bread was nicely toasted, there were plenty of toppings, and everything had a good flavor. Unfortunately, the rest of our breakfast was where things went sideways. Instead of the bacon I ordered, I received turkey bacon. The bacon on my husband’s breakfast sandwich was also turkey bacon, and he said the sausage on the sandwich appeared to have been replaced with turkey sausage as well. I’m personally not a fan of turkey bacon, but my bigger issue was that we weren’t told about the substitutions. I actually went back and checked the menu afterward because I thought maybe I had simply missed where it said they used turkey bacon. It doesn’t. I’m not sure if our order was made incorrectly, if they had run out of the regular bacon and sausage, or if this is what they normally serve, but if you’re substituting something like turkey bacon for regular bacon—or turkey sausage for regular sausage—I really think the customer should be told before the order is made. They’re very different products, and I would have simply ordered something else had I known. For anyone visiting, it’s also worth knowing that this is a walk-up-and-order cafe rather than a traditional sit-down restaurant. You order at the counter and bus your own table when you’re finished, which wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s helpful to know what to expect. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and the avocado toast was genuinely good. The menu has a lot of things that sound delicious, so I wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, paying around $30 for breakfast and having multiple meat items substituted without anyone mentioning it left us disappointed.

Andrea Hart 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Just went for desserts. My kids had been wanting to try the artisanal desserts and we finally had the opportunity to go by there. They were very good. They're a bit pricey (understandably so), but worth the occasional splurge. I really liked the strawberry red velvet. My son's favorite was the diamond, and my daughter's favorite was the cube strawberry boba. Of the ones we got, I didn't care for the lemon as much, but the others were fantastic. Not overly sweet at all, but definitely a nice occasional splurge (for us).

Cam King 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★This place offers A LOT of hot & cold drinks, crepes, omelets, sandwiches, salads & baked goods...even a section on the menu called "Tastes of the World" with seven delicious sounding options. I had the spinach and chicken omelet with crispy potatoes & my friend had a breakfast sandwich with homemade chips. Both were really good! We shared a pastry with fresh strawberries, drizzled with chocolate....scrumptious! I look forward to going back and trying the chicken negresco & shakshuka.

Logan Fox 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★I love it. It was my first time trying rolled ice cream. I got the PB&J one. It was delicious and sooo good. I loved watching them make it. They also have a gluten one so everyone can have one. I would recommend this to anyone.
