AbingdonMMAAs the owners of a local martial arts gym, we occasionally have instructors, students, and families travel to Abingdon for seminars and special events. Whenever someone asks us where they should stay, we're always happy to recommend Curated Properties. Janice has been wonderful to work with. She takes the time to understand what our everyone need and helps find the best property for their stay, whether it's a single instructor visiting for a weekend or a group coming in for training. The feedback we've received has been consistently positive. Katie CollinsHilltop Oasis is amazing! It’s beautiful and spacious luxurious showers and a fully stocked kitchen. This place would be perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas or any occasion as it has a lovely large dining table to gather around. Janice is attentive and ready to make your stay special. The back deck in spring and summer is paradise and I loved feeding the koi fish!

Larry BernathHaving stayed at more than 70 Airbnbs, this property is worth special mention. Extremely spacious, beautifully appointed inside and out, fully equipped with high-quality kitchen appliances and utensils. Location is very close to downtown, but also convenient for travel to hike, kayak and bike locations in SWVA. Our group of seven had lots of room to gather and also to spend time apart. The host is extremely responsive and focused on providing a five-star experience. We had one!

Jackie StoneWe have had two lovely stays with Curated Properties now. Janice is an incredible host and thinks of every detail to make the stay perfect. We just finished a 5 night stay at the cozy oasis and hope to return soon! The property is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains through the big windows in the living room every morning.

CJ FoxLast week, a group of girlfriends and I had the pleasure of staying at The Oasis in Abingdon, VA. And when I say it was a pleasure, it truly was! First off, the owner (Janice) was an awesome host! Very nice and friendly - a happy person. She was also professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to all our questions while we were planning our trip (where to rent bikes, good restaurants, hikes, the Barter Theater, events, shopping, etc.) Janice helped us plan a fantastic long weekend! She also seems to know everyone in town 🙂 Our accommodations at The Oasis were superb. Beautifully decorated and clean enough for a visit from the Queen herself! The beds were very comfortable with quality pillows, spreads, and thick thirsty towels ... and I notice things like that. Fresh coffee in the morning, and a great hangout space before we headed out for the day. Her koi pond is very pretty and we spent a lot of time enjoying ourselves around it. In fact, one night we were enjoying ourselves so much that we cancelled our restaurant plans and ordered pizza so that we could spend the evening around the pond (lights and candles also made for a great atmosphere.) Janice also has a lot of original art displayed throughout The Oasis - all from local artists. I was happy to find that they could be purchased, and I came home with a beautiful piece that now hangs in an empty spot in my bedroom. It serves as a great memory of a memorable weekend! All this said, we could not have been happier. And all of us agree that The Oasis was a special place ... and we highly recommend it. For sure... we'll be back! Carla Foxworth, Charleston, SC
