Abingdon Independence Day Cornhole Tournament

Celebrate our Independence Day on Saturday, July 1st on the lawn at the Abingdon Visitor Center, the Farmers Market Pavilion, and Remsburg Drive.

This year's festivities will include a Cornhole Tournament with $1,000 in prize money available! Registration begins at 1:30 and the tournament will begin at 2:00.

Pre-registration is open on the app. Players must check in at the event at PAY entry fee from 1:30 to 2:00 to participate. Any player that registered but did not pay the fee will be removed from the software before the tournament begins. 

$20 per player (6 game guarantee). Top for places will be paid in CASH! $1,000 guaranteed payouts.

1st Place - $500

2nd Place - $300

3rd Place - $140

4th Place - $60

Blackjack Cornhole will provide the equipment, professional boards, tablets for scoring, and bags will be available for use. Players may bring their own approved bags (no corn filled bags).

No partner, no problem!

Tournament format will be random partner switch for the first 4 rounds. These 4 round robin games will earn players their seeding for the final bracket. Seeding will be ranked by most wins. There could be multiple players that are 4-0, the tiebreaker is most points, so be sure you count all points even over 21 when you win. Next tiebreaker is points against.

Once the player that earned the number one seed is determined, that player will flip a coin for the final pairings. This means either the top 2 are paired and the others follow accordingly or top/middle are paired and others follow accordingly.
