Matt Reilly Fly Fishing is a full-time guide service based in Southwest Virginia, offering fly fishing and conventional gear float and wade trips 365 days of the year. From smallmouth bass and musky in ancient Appalachian rivers, to predatory wild brown trout in the world-famous South Holston and Watauga tailwaters, and bountiful wild rainbow and brown trout in the Mount Rogers High Country, the diversity of our region means there's no "off season." It's always a great time to visit Southwest Virginia.

Trips can be catered to fit any schedule or skill level. If you're a raw beginner, looking to get your feet wet in fly fishing, or a trophy hunter looking to catch a bucket list fish, we have guides and fisheries to accommodate your needs.

We carry a Special Use Permit from the US Forest Service to legally guide trips in the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, and are fully insured and licensed everywhere we lead trips.
